Borders in Madhubani

Madhubani Art also known as Mithila art is the folk art from India. It’s a form of Painting practiced in the Mithila region of Nepal and in Bihar.

Today I bring you guys a post on common Borders used in Madhubani paintings. A border is very important for every painting and borders in Madhubani are stylish, exquisite and one of their kinds.

Madhubani painting is drawn using fingers, twigs, brushes, nib pens, matchsticks and the colors used in the painting are natural dyes and pigments. There are paintings for all occasions marriage, birth, Holi, Kali Pooja etc.
