DIY-Reusing Old Gasket to make a Fall Wreath

By | October 4, 2016

Reusing has been one of my very strong mantras in life. Reusing  makes you get rid of the clutter and at the same time gives you an opportunity to repurpose them. In this post I will be explaining how you can reuse an old pressure cooker gasket to make a beautiful Fall Wreath this Autumn.

This beautiful and easy DIY Fall wreath will adorn your main door and brings in the festive mood of Halloween. This DIY does not require a lot of materials and the materials are all that you can find at home and faux fall leaves which I bought from Dollar Tree Store for a Dollar. Yes you heard it right, just for a dollar. 🙂

Steps:
Step 1 Clean your Gasket thoroughly with water and let it dry completely.

Step 2 Stick the Faux Fall leaves on to the Gasket using Glue gun, in a way that you can hide the Gasket. Make sure no black colour of the Gasket is seen.

Step 3 You can always tie a thread at the top, if needed. Well, I did not tie any thread I hang it to the Main Door, just like that with the support of the gasket.

Step 4 Move aside, enjoy and welcome the Fall and your friends with this simple and beautiful wreath on your Door.
