Mandala Therapy

By | November 17, 2019

Mandala time is my usual Mind Declutter time. I introspect my feelings, with every line, pattern and shape I draw.

In today’s Mandala drawing, the background was painted with Watercolours and I used Sharpie’s Fine tip Black pen on Canson 300gsm paper.

The word Mandala means “circle”. A Mandala represents wholeness extending beyond mind and body. Mandalas are used for meditation purposes thus allowing the individual to become one with universe. They can be created by an individual to symbolize their journey through life.

For me drawing Mandala was relaxing. It just soothes your mind with every line you draw. I usually prefer to draw my own mandalas, but there are also Mandala coloring books available which you can buy and color.
