Today’s post is DIY Jharokha Frame.I have been wanting to have one for a very long time, what better way than making one all by myself.
For people who don’t know what’s a Jharokha, it is a resemblance to the royal time depicting the Balcony in Royal Palaces for Kings and Queens. Jharokha Frames can be used as a Wall Decor as well as Window Panes or Mirror Frames.

Materials required:
Cardboard
Scissors
Pencil
Tissue paper -White
Fevicol
Water
Brushes
POP- Plaster of Paris
Wire
Mettalic Paints
Paint Brushes
Glue Gun
Steps with Photos:
Step1:
Download a reference Image of Jharokha for design reference. Then Cut cardboard into different Shapes, like this.

Step 2:
Now stick the pieces together using fevicol.

Step 3:
Mix fevicol and water in equal parts and start sticking the tissue paper on to the frame.

Step 4:
Complete the entire frame in the same way and let it dry for complete 24 hours. Also add the wire to form a hook for hanging. Bend the wire into u shaped and then insert into the cardboard with gluegun. It dries hard.
Step 5:
Mix pop to a medium consistency which is workable for adding details and then let it dry.

Step 6:
Now Paint it with your favorite colours, here I have Acrylic, mettalic paints, copper, bronze and gold.

Step 7:
Let it dry and adorn it on your wall.
Happy Creating!
