Watercolour-Frida Kahlo Mandala.

By | March 14, 2020

You deserve a lover that takes away the lies and brings you illusions, coffee and poetry.
– Frida Kahlo

Today’s mandala is Watercolour Frida Kahlo Mandala. This Mandala is inspired by Friday Kahlo’s self portrait painting with thorn necklace and humming bird.

Here one half of the mandala represents the poisonous love and the other half represents freedom from it.

The poisonous half is depicted by withered red roses with deadly thorns intertwined, a dead hummingbird and a bridal veil on a skeleton whilst the other half depicts sunshine with sunflowers, lushing green leaves and growing branches, butterflies and Frida’s smiling face. Please do let me know your thoughts on this one.
