It took 4 hours to complete this drawing and I used sharpie fine tip pen for drawing the same.A chariot-like vehicle is used in the temples of Karnataka to take the idols of god and goddess in procession. The birds on the vehicle escort the God/ Goddess in the procession, while the tribal men are pulling the chariot with ropes.
My take on Hasegode Chittara Painting: I took five hours to complete and I used Sharpie fine tip pen. Accidentally I tumbled upon this beautiful folk art from my birth state in India. When I learnt more about the art form I realized the intricate and the amount of patience the Deewaru women put, in creating this Art.
