Parrot motif in Bheenth Chitra

By | February 19, 2019

Today’s post is a Parrot motif in Bheenth Chitra. I will also do a series of Bheenth Chitra motifs in the coming days.

Bheenth Chitra, is a type of wall art from India.Traditionally, Bheenth Chitra originates from the tribes of western India, particularly from the states of Gujarat and Rajasthan. The motifs are large, clear and very distinct. Design motifs are mostly linear. This wall art is a mixture of geometrical and ethnic motifs.

Tip: The tip to draw these is to draw a central cross grid and it will split the image into exact halves.

The right and left side of the design is a mirror image of each other.

Drawing cross grids before you start drawing your design with a pencil will help you to maintain the symmetry.

Hope you will try drawing these! Will be back soon with more such motif designs.

Enjoy!

Happy Drawing!
