Ingredients:
All purpose flour(maida) – 1 cup
Powdered sugar/confectioners sugar – 1/2 cup
Roasted cashews -1/4 cup
Unsalted butter – 1 stick (4 oz) at room temperature
Salt -1/8 tsp
Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
Baking powder -1/4 tsp

Steps:
Step 1 Roast Cashews and keep it aside.
Step 2 Add sugar and butter at room temperature to a bowl. Mix the ingredients using a spoon.
Step 3 Mix all the dry ingredients i.e. all purpose flour, baking powder and cardamom. Now add the dry ingredients to the sugar and butter mixture and knead it into a dough.
Step 4 Cover it with a cling wrap and leave it aside for 15 min.
Step 5 Preheat the oven to 300F.
Step 6 Now make small balls and place it on a baking sheet for 20-22 minutes to bake.Once they are golden brown remove it from the oven and allow it to cool down.
Step 7 Enjoy these scrumptious eggless cookies/Nankhatai with tea/coffee.

- 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Roasted Cashews
- 1 Stick (4oz) Unsalted butter
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Cardamon Powder
- 1/4 tsp Baking powder
