Bheemana Amavasya is also celebrated as Jyothirbheemeshwara Vratha. This is an important festival celebrated in Karnataka and is observed on the New Moon Day(Amavasya).

Woodinville Lavender Farm

Woodinville in Redmond is a farm with fresh lavender and with a range of products such as Bath and Body products, cookies, gifts and much more. Farm is open all through the year, however the lavender is blooming June through August.

Chittara Painting: Theru Chittara

It took 4 hours to complete this drawing and I used sharpie fine tip pen for drawing the same.A chariot-like vehicle is used in the temples of Karnataka to take the idols of god and goddess in procession. The birds on the vehicle escort the God/ Goddess in the procession, while the tribal men are pulling the chariot with ropes.
